Get involved #
The West Side Gallery thrives on participation — that of artists who spray and exhibit, and that of the public that votes.
For artists #
Spraying by the railway. The walls of the spray gallery are open to new work. If you want to paint a surface, get in touch with a short idea or sketch — experience is welcome, but not a requirement. The works then go up for public voting.
Exhibiting in the art house. For the curated rotating exhibitions we welcome proposals and portfolios. The selection is made by the curation; we clarify contact and process in person.
For the public #
Vote. The public decides on the works of the spray gallery. This keeps visible what moves people — not only what a jury selects.
Come by. The best way to experience the gallery is the direct one: look from the S-Bahn, or step off at the Stadteingang West and stand in front of it.
The first step #
Tell us briefly what you have in mind — painting a wall, exhibiting, or simply staying up to date. We will get back to you and clarify the rest directly.
Fair and open. The spray gallery is a public art space. We ask for respect for the work of others, for the installation and for the neighbourhood — everything else is freedom.
